FDMC Cauac Overview
FDMC Cauac is a Minecraft vanilla, survival miltiplayer (SMP), Rated 'R' [+18], game-world server on normal difficulty. There are no custom maps, server mods, or resource packs installed. FDMC has a carte blanche attitude towards open-ended gameplay and PvP. Players have complete freedom to do as the wish within the limits of the game and the FDMC Rules, which players are expected to uphold at all times. No items are provided for players who are logging in for the first time, their inventory will be empty. The only help players can expect to receive is from other players. Players will drop all items in their inventory when they die.
There will be no Admin presence to hold your hand, or give you free items, or show you the way or how to do things. An Admin will never interfere with game world activity or any individual player(s) unnecessarily. The only time you're likely to see an Admin in-game is when someone is not playing by the Rules, or when there's a bug/glitch or problem to be solved, or for maintenance and testing purposes.
FDMC Cauac is a world which is built, maintained, destroyed, and managed by the players themselves, in every aspect. Within the limits of the game and FDMC Rules, you, as a player, have total freedom to go where you like, build where you like, mine where you like, and do things your own way.
Cauac is a LARGEBIOMES map with vastly unexplored regions containing undiscovered treasures and resources, structures, myths and legends, secrets long forgotten, and untold wealth. It's possible to build obsidian portals and venture to The Nether, or explore the seas to locate Ocean Fortresses or buried treasure hidden in sunken structures and shipwrecks, or seek out Strongholds in the Overworld and travel to The End to do battle with the mighty Ender Dragon!
Anything is possible on Cauac. It's up to you to make it happen.
If you have any questions or querys read the FDMC FAQ. In fact, please take time to read it anyway. If you don't find any answers try logging in to the FDMC Cauac server and asking there. ;-)

FDMC Cauac For Beginners
The advice to all players when starting out is to travel far from the Cauac Temple spawnpoint as possible before building any permanent structures (i.e. a base or house, etc.). This is because sometimes griefers appear on the world; plundering, marauding, and destroying all in their view. So, if your structure is very visible from the high altitude of the Cauac Temple then it's a potential target! If you don't care about interacting with other players, or just want to be alone and/or only with your friends, then the general rule is - the farther away from spawnpoint you are, the better it will be.
There is NO teleporting feature, NO free-flight (without Elytra/rockets), and NO creative mode. There are NO free items given on request to, or services performed for, players by the admins. All players are free to scavenge and forage, beg, borrow, or steal.
Incidentally, DO take the opportunity to have a quick look around the Cauac Temple. You may find something interesting.
To join FDMC Cauac you will need a registered Minecraft account and game software. These are available from the official Minecraft.net website. Caution: DO NOT download software from unofficial sources unless 100% trusted!
FDMC Cauac PvP
PvP is very active on Cauac. Players are known to kill each other on a regular basis. Safety can be found in numbers and/or by using your head.
FDMC Cauac Teams
There are no user-defined/managed 'teams' on Cauac. All new players who join FDMC Cauac will automatically join the Minion (green) team by default. Team management for players (i.e. team leaders) is still in the planning stages and may be included at some point in the future.
FDMC Cauac Lore
Cauac was once ruled over by the Verloren, many, many moons ago. The Verloren were an advanced society and civilization who prospered and gained great influence over all others, becoming the dominant culture. They were great in power, knowledge and wisdom. All prospered under their rule. Their empire stretched for more than 10,000 blocks in every direction and endured for over 1,000 years.
Alas, it's been too many centuries to remember since the Verloren vanished and their vast empire turned to dust. The only evidence of their existence are the many temples they left behind. The Verloren worship the Rain-maker, the Stormbringer, God of thunder and lightning.
Superior in many ways, the Verloren were great rulers, shapers, dreamers, and makers, and they knew many things; the true secrets, the important things. Verloren magic is the stuff of legends. Verloren armory and weaponry has no equal.
Some say it was their own greatness which brought an end to the Verloren. Others say their downfall was fully intentional. So much time has passed that history can't recall how, why, or when. Only the temples remain, as a reminder of a bygone era. What happened to the Verloren and where did they go? Nobody knows. There's an old myth that says; when the last of the Verloren people left they went far to the North-West, they created a village and settled there.
But that's just a story.
